Hello Afri-tunes community!

You all have got to come pat my back for what you're about to listen to, I mean I never thought I could do it until I actually did it (maybe I thought I could so that made it possible). Well, the thing is...

I did a cover of a song from a tribe I know almost nothing about!

You know that situation where you keep humming a song because you don't know the lyrics but you can't stop humming... This song got me real deep than that situation.

I fell in love with the song (the artist played a bigger role though) and it took me a week to learn this song... I always prefer to know the song I'm presenting (it's always better that way you know). So yeah, the time has come to show it out to you all... My cover of a Tanzanian song.

Nakupenda is a Tanzanian song by a cute and handsome Tanzanian artist called Jay Melody. I want to believe you know a little bit about the country but just in case you want to add this... Tanzania is an East African country, if you're looking for where to go do your wildfire adventures... Choose there, you'll have the best time of your life... Just don't invite me please.

Why did I choose to do a cover of this song?

Simply because I love the song melody (I told you the artist played the bigger role haha) and because I saw it as a little challenge, if I could sing this song... I'll try out more deep African songs in the future for my covers here in the community.

I also love the lyrics, will be sharing it here... It's in Tanzania but I'll provide the interpretation as well. Don't be shocked by the interpretation, sometimes language songs can have such weird meanings haha.
