Good day everyone. This is Vol 32 of the vlog series which is centred on improving us, as I will be talking on fantastic topics in the business or finance section or will talking on motivating issues that will inspire you to success. Today's topic is "Improving Your Networking Skills As A Businessman". I will be talking about one superb tip which will help you improve your networking skills and it is;

• Mindset: You have to change your mindset about networking if you truly want to improve your networking. You shouldn't be looking at networking as a business or work or formal stuff, you should look at it as a game of making new targetted friends. If you can with the mindset of business, you would be scared to talk to some people because you would be thinking of the fear of rejection, but if you go with the mindset of making a new friend, you won't feel the fear of rejection. Also, if you have the idea that networking is a business or work stuff for your business, you won't approach your potential network in a good way, because they would see through you, that you are only interested in them for your own gain and they might not give you their ears. But if you came as a friend, they will be glad and talk with you as a potential friend, with time business or work-related stuff will come. But make your potential networks feel comfortable with you. I would advise meeting them in a less formal place, that will help the conversation be informal and that's the nice impression you would want to give to your potential network. Try this and your networking rate will improve greatly.
