Bendiciones de lo alto y un cordial saludos para todas las personas, músicos y cantantes que conforman la comunidad, es un gusto saludarles y hacer este post el día de hoy.

Blessings from above and cordial greetings to all the people, musicians and singers that make up the community, it is a pleasure to greet you and make this post today.

Como músicos emergente siempre tenemos sed de querer cumplir metas y sueños, y llegar a este concurso para mi fue un sueño hecho realidad. Sibelius Fest era un concurso que se llevaba a cabo en la ciudad de Caracas, un certamen donde guitarristas previamente seleccionados iban a participar, a exponer su talento y pasión por el instrumento.

Yo participe en este evento en el año 2010, y gracias a Dios, obtuve el 2do lugar dentro de la competencia lo que me pareció sumamente hermosa y reconfortante, era algo que yo anhelaba y soñaba muchos años antes de que sucediera.

As emerging musicians we always have a thirst for wanting to fulfill goals and dreams, and reaching this contest for me was a dream come true. Sibelius Fest was a contest that took place in the city of Caracas, a contest where previously selected guitarists were going to participate, to expose their talent and passion for the instrument.

I participated in this event in 2010, and thank God, I obtained 2nd place in the competition, which I found extremely beautiful and comforting, it was something that I longed for and dreamed of many years before it happened.

De este festival surgieron muchas amistades y conexiones importantes que han aportado a mi carrera como músico/guitarrista, puedo decir que fue el inicio de un pequeño surgimiento o ese pequeño empujón que todos los músicos necesitamos para hacer más visible nuestro talento y nuestra música.

Como dije al principio de este video, este tipo de iniciativas son realmente importantes ya que permiten hacer visible el talento de muchos músicos talentosos que están en rl anonimato. Por desgracia este festival ya no se lleva a cabo, pero creo fielmente de que pronto volverá y que muchos guitarrista podrán exponer su talento en esa plaza.

From this festival many friendships and important connections emerged that have contributed to my career as a musician / guitarist, I can say that it was the beginning of a small emergence or that little push that all musicians need to make our talent and our music more visible.

As I said at the beginning of this video, these types of initiatives are really important since they make visible the talent of many talented musicians who are anonymous. Unfortunately this festival is no longer taking place, but I believe faithfully that it will return soon and that many guitarists will be able to show their talent in that square.
