    Extasiado me quedé
Y vuelvo a ver mi flor

Hello dear friends from the great #Hive community! it is a great privilege for me to have the opportunity to express myself artistically on this great platform.

Taking part in this great Open Mic contest again is exciting. In fact, it is one of my favorite competitions at Hive.

Today I participate with one of my favorite Venezuelan songs: "viajera del río", by Manuel Yánez. This beautiful song is a traditional waltz from Venezuela. It has been performed by Serenata Guayanesa, Ílan Chester and Francisco Pacheco, among others.

I> did my version with a rhythmic adaptation of the reggae music genre, accompanied by a #baritone ukulele. I hope you enjoy it.

I also share his beautiful lyrics:

*** RIVER TRAVELER *** Walking once
    By the boardwalk
    Ecstatic i stayed
Seeing a flower perfuming the river
    It was angelic
    Like orange blossom
    And ran and ran
Looking for the horizon, he was lost
    I wanted to touch her
    I wanted to hug her
I wanted to love her like you
Nor that he was a magician
To contain the force of the river
    And it was hiding
    And he left
    Then disappeared
    Years passed
And the arcane time took her away from me
    That's why in my dreams
    When i remember her
Sad I'm going to the boardwalk
To see if the river changes the current
And I see my flower again
