Today I want to present you my version of a very beautiful song: "Adiós mi prenda", Augusto Ramos. A traditional Venezuelan merengue, which became very famous and successful in #Venezuela since its release in 1976, as track 04 on side B of the third production "LP" of the same name by Gualberto Ibarreto "Volúmen 3".

This song is a traditional merengue from eastern Venezuela. It tells the story of a love that goes through the stage of separation.

This song has been covered very few times. It's incredible that with such simplicity, the singer accompanied only by a #cuatrovenezuelan, a bass and a mandolin manages to convey great flavor and immense musicality. I share that original version:
