I thought I'd stick with yesterday's theme about home schooling and making things fun and incorporating ways to learn at home with schools being closed.
Music is an integral part of life, it bridges cultures, it sooths the soul and it can be the perfect back drop to take any party from ok to EPIC.
When lockdown hit, I started planning things to do with lil miss 3, I've never played piano before but always wanted to learn how to play. Lockdown gave me the perfect excuse as Lil Miss 3 will need to learn music which not only is an awesome skill to learn to show off, but it helps you develop a strong level of multi tasking.
In this video, we were learning to play and sing Twinkle Twinkle litter star, but LiL Miss always wants me to play club bangers..... she's starting young, I'm scared.
So I dubbed Tones and I - Dance Monkey over our Twinkle Twinkle little star session and showed it to her in the morning. She now tells everyone that it was her singing and I was playing the song 🤣🤣
What are some of the things you have come up with in lockdown to help teach your kids?
