Se la conoce habitualmente con el sobrenombre de la tonadillera española, por su estilo musical basado en el folclore español con una alta orquestación sinfónica.Volvió a los escenarios el 10 de noviembre de 2016 en el Teatro Real Carlos III de Aranjuez en Madrid tras dos años de ausencia por el caso Malaya, cuya sentencia la llevó a prisión durante dos años. Es también prima hermana de Chiquetete y Sylvia Pantoja.
