a very cordial greeting to all and welcome to this presentation space which I open today to tell you a little about myself and what music means in my life, besides that I plan to share with you what little that I have learned in these years of life music not only theories but also personal experiences and why not popular music tricks that are not learned in the academy as they say I hope you like this post the truth for me it would be quite gratifying if receptivity with it and thus be able to make a bond to go together on the path of learning I also hope that some concerns are expressed here to also clear up unknowns of musical knowledge both from me to you and from you to me since I imagine you also have their own experiences and learning and the idea is to learn from both parties and share.
In this video post I did not want to comment much about what music theory is or a specific class, but to introduce myself to you and make a kind of #introduction or #welcome to this community of #hivemusicschool and @hivemusicschool for the invitation to participate in this project that's why today I bring you this little video although I confess that I'm not very good at speaking on camera let's say that the typical stage fright that is never overcome I also show you today a little of my musical actions or execution and a bit of the use of harmony also a bit of an example that I took from a student who takes his notes in a notebook so as not to forget anything in his class as if we studied any other subject music is also important in this case we apply the same many suggest that music is an auditory mathematics.
My method of explanations is a bit simple out of habit I usually work with children and although if I use a bit of mathematics I consider that any elementary school child knowing how to add and subtract can make it a little easier theoretical and more practical as they say the school of every day applied to music for that reason although with a little nerves as I expressed in my video I talk about 9th chords 11th and 13th for those who know little we will get there through the sums hehe for that is a very easy method to learn so we will also name those chords that we do not usually know in addition to the basic or fundamental ones.
I'm also not very given to images taken from the internet, so today I also decided to show a little bit of the notebook of one of my students where he copied part of what we have seen and shared in our classes although I am more into practice than theory because I give a lot of importance to the execution of the instrument it is also important to know where we stand when interpreting or executing a song to know the scales how the names of the chords are composed and basic fundamentals it does not give the ease of being able to transport a theme from one tone to another in a simple way and even change chords and why not the rhythm and genre.
I hope soon to be uploading something of your interest that can be of help to those who want to receive some kind of knowledge that is within my reach, that is why the interaction we have here is very important knowing is asking someone once told me good advice in my opinion a big hello to all I say goodbye for today but not before thanking everyone who is always supporting and reading my posts here.
