Dia was the first dog that I walk when I volunteered in Ampon Alaga.
I still remember that I was told she didn't get along with other dogs and prefers to be given a wide space.
She would usually try to get in between the legs of Mark, one of the regular handlers of PETA, as if trying to hide and be safe.
She was grumpy with other dogs but better with people and as she gotten more accustomed to me she would also do the same thing and stay in between my legs or just lean on me.
She would often take the lead when walking and just looking out like a sentinel and so when it was finally announced that someone was going to adopt her we were all happy for our Dia bear.
We think she knew too because she does not do zoomies often but on that particular day she was so excited and was running around and was even nice to the puppies.
So here is a puppy send off to Dia and may you find your happiness.
