[ESP] | [ENG] - Caracas en collage.

¡Los collages han regresado a mi vida! Y esta vez regresan como una forma de homenaje a la hermosa Ciudad de Caracas y, por supuesto, también en honor a @hiveccs, un proyecto maravilloso y del cual estoy muy orgullosa de pertecer. Con este collage mi objetivo era capturar un poco la esencia de Caracas agrupando elementos muy simbólicos como, por ejemplo, las famosas Torres de Parque Central, la escultura de María Lionza, la Esfera de Soto, el Ávila y un vagón del Metro de Caracas. Cada uno de estos elementos representan lugares o puntos emblemáticos de la Capital que guardan un significado muy especial para nosotros los caraqueños. Para mí, Caracas es una ciudad mágica, es como esa mamá divertida y cool pero que a veces te puede regañar. Por eso es que desde hace tiempo llevaba en mente querer hacer un pequeño tributo a la ciudad que me ha visto crecer y, por supuesto, ese pensamiento se mezcló con el nacimiento de Hive Ccs.

Es muy loco, pero Caracas siempre me ha transmitido un sentir de que todos aquí estamos conectados unos con otros y, de cierta manera, con Hive también he experimentado lo mismo. Me alegra saber que esta ciudad reúne muchas personas talentosas en cada uno de sus rincones y me alegra aún más saber que pude conectar con muchas de estas personas gracias a Hive.

En este short les quise mostrar parte del proceso de elaboración de este collage pero digamos que de una forma diferente, pues durante los primeros 20 segundos quise experimentar con la técnica de stop motion. Creo que resultó genial a pesar de que es la primera vez que lo hago...eso sí, no les mentiré,fue difícil. Todo estuvo divertido y libre de estrés hasta que sin querer moví el trípode solo unos centímetros...ahí se acabó mi alegría (ja, ja, ja).

Collages are back in my life! And this time they are back as a way of homage to the beautiful City of Caracas and, of course, also in honor of @hiveccs, a wonderful project that I am very proud to be a part of. With this collage my goal was to capture a little bit the essence of Caracas by grouping very symbolic elements such as, for example, the famous Towers of Parque Central, the sculpture of María Lionza, the Sfera de Soto, the Avila and a car of the Caracas Metro. Each of these elements represent places or emblematic points of the Capital that have a very special meaning for us Caracas people. For me, Caracas is a magical city, it's like that fun and cool mom who can sometimes scold you. That's why for a long time I had in mind to make a small tribute to the city that has seen me grow up and, of course, that thought was mixed with the birth of Hive Ccs.

It's so crazy, but Caracas has always conveyed to me a feeling that everyone here is connected to each other and, in a way, with Hive I've also experienced the same thing. I'm happy to know that this city gathers many talented people in each of its corners and I'm even happier to know that I was able to connect with many of these people thanks to Hive.

In this short I wanted to show you part of the process of making this collage but let's say in a different way, because during the first 20 seconds I wanted to experiment with the stop motion technique. I think it turned out great even though it's the first time I do it... I won't lie, it was difficult. Everything was fun and stress free until I accidentally moved the tripod just a few centimeters...that was the end of my joy (ha, ha, ha).
