This song is titled "Flashlight." This song by Jessie J talks about the demonstration of being a light in someone's darkness, and by so doing. We are adding colors to people's lives.

There comes a time when each and every single one of us go through a storm at some point in time of our lives, and some end up being depressed, frustrating and others takes their lives. If only they had someone who will just flash the light in their lives, to beautify and add some sort of colors in their lives, they would not have given up.

Flashlight talks about being a light, and by being a light, we add colors to beautify someone's life.

Perry said she wrote the song after undergoing therapy, saying she was "sick of keeping all these feelings inside and not speaking up for myself". Which gives a sense of survival. She never gave up and she got up and kept going.
