Hello friends of hive! Today I am going to show you how to make a macrame bracelet. This technique brings me fond memories as it was my grandmother who taught me how to do it, I spent the afternoons at her house and while we talked she taught me or the truth was not very patient in the first classes and she told me that little by little I was going to get the weaving and so it was. To make a bracelet you will need:
Beads of the color you want, in this case I like this tone that is a lead gray.
Leather thread or also the finest snakeskin thread.
Golden Chinese thread
Measuring tape or ruler
Lighter
Scissors
Hook
A piece of cardboard

Hola amigos de hive! Hoy les voy a enseñar como hacer una pulsera tejida con la técnica de macramé. Esta técnica me trae gratos recuerdos ya que fue mi abuela quien me enseño hacerla, pasaba las tardes en su casa y mientras conversábamos me enseñaba o la verdad no tenia mucha paciencia en las primeras clases y ella me decía que poco a poco me iba a salir el tejido y asi fue. Para realizar una pulsera necesitarás:
Mostacillas del color que desees, en este caso gusta este tono que es un gris plomo.
Hilo de cuero o también el hilo llamado piel de serpiente del más fino
Hilo chino dorado
Cinta métrica ó regla
Encendedor
Tijeras
Gancho
Un pedazo de cartón

Step 1
Measure the circumference of your wrist (mine measures 16) cut 4cm more (20 cm) for the base of our bracelet. Take the leather cord and cut 20 cm and tie a knot at one end of the bracelet that will be our base taking into account the extra cm that we gave. Fix the leather thread to the cardboard with the hook, so you can work more comfortably.

Paso 1
Medir el contorno de tu muñeca (la mía mide 16) cortaras 4cm mas (20 cm) para la base de nuestra pulsera. Toma el cordón de cuero y corta 20 cm y realiza un nudo en uno de los extremos de la pulsera que será nuestra base tomando en cuenta los cm extra que le dimos. Fija al cartón con el gancho el hilo de cuero, para que puedas trabajar con mayor comodidad.

Step 2
Pass the golden thread under the main thread.

Paso 2
Pasa el hilo dorado por debajo del hilo principal.

Step 3: Thread the right end over the main strand.
Pass the right end over the main strand.

Paso 3
El extremo derecho lo pasas por encima del cordón principal.

Step 4 Pass the left end of the gold thread over the main thread.
Pass the left end of the gold thread over the main thread and thread it through the hole on the right side, stretching both ends to form the base of the weaving (see picture).

Paso 4
el extremo izquierdo del hilo dorado lo pasas por encima del principal y lo metes por el orificio del lado derecho, estirando ambos extremos para armar la base del tejido (ver imagen).

Step 5
Then pass the right side of the gold thread under the main thread and the left end over the main thread and put it through the hole on the right side.

Paso 5
luego el lado derecho del hilo dorado lo pasas por debajo del hilo principal y el extremo izquierdo por encima y lo metes por el orificio del lado derecho.

Step 6: Then repeat the procedure on the left side, passing it under the main thread.
then repeat the procedure on the left side, passing it under the main thread and the right side over the main thread and then through the hole on the left side.
And so you alternate the same procedure from one side to the other until you have 8 passes.
On the eighth pass the mustard through the main thread.

Paso 6
luego repites el procedimiento del lado izquierdo, pasándolo por debajo del hilo principal y el lado derecho por encima del hilo principal y luego por el orificio del lado izquierdo.

Y así vas alternando el mismo procedimiento de un lado a otro hasta tener 8 pasadas.
En la octava pasas la mostacilla por el hilo principal.

Step 7
then pass the left end over the main thread and the right end underneath and put it through the hole on the left side and tie the knot to secure the bead.

Paso 7
luego el extremo izquierdo lo pasas por encima del hilo principal y el extremo derecho por debajo y lo metes por el orificio que queda del lado izquierdo y haces el nudo para fijar la mostacilla.

Step 8
Then pass the right end under the main thread and the left end over the main thread or cord and through the hole on the right side.
Continue alternating the right and left side until the 8 passes and in the eighth pass you place the bead on the main thread or cord.
And repeat the procedure of the 8 weaves or passes until you complete the contour of the wrist.
After weaving the last pass you make a knot in the main thread and cut the ends of the golden thread on both sides, burn them with a lighter to fix the thread well.
To make the brooch you join both ends and pass the golden thread under with both ends on the right side, pass the one on the top over the other golden end and then under the two thicker threads and pass the end through the hole on the left side (see image). then the golden thread on the right side you pass it over the main thread (thick cord) and the left end of the golden thread you pass it under the main thread and put it through the hole on the right side. (See image).
Repeat the procedure several times and cut the ends of the golden thread and burn the ends with the lighter.

Paso 8
luego el extremo derecho lo pasas por debajo del hilo principal y el extremo izquierdo por encima del hilo o cordón principal y por el orificio del lado derecho.

Continúas alternando el lado derecho e izquierdo hasta las 8 pasadas y en la octava colocas la mostacilla en el hilo o cordón principal.
Y repites el procedimiento de los 8 tejidos o pasadas hasta completar el contorno de la muñeca.

Luego de tejer la última realizas un nudo en el hilo principal y cortas los extremos del hilo dorado de lado y lado, los quemas con un encendedor para fijar bien el hilo.

Para realizar el broche unes ambos extremos y pasas el hilo dorado por debajo con ambos extremos del lado derecho, pasas el que queda en la parte superior por encima del otro extremo dorado y luego por debajo de los dos hilos más gruesos y el extremo lo pasas por el orifico que queda del lado izquierdo ( ver imagen 1). Luego el hilo dorado del lado derecho lo pasas por encima del hilo principal (cordón grueso) y el extremo izquierdo del hilo dorado lo pasas por debajo de hilo principal y lo metes por el orificio del lado derecho. Repites el procedimiento veces y cortas los extremos del hilo dorado y quemas las puntas con el encendedor .
