    About :

I am grateful to have the help of my husband to get the raised beds built and set up.
There is no way that I could do that on my own. Even between the two of us, we are struggling a little with the weight of those things.
But I wanted them to be high. For one, I have a lot of organic matter that I am going to "hide" in them instead of sending it to the landfill.
And, lately, there have been times when my back has been hurting and the idea is to set this up now so we have it when we get old enough that we need to height.
The organic matter will break down with time and add fertility - and we don't need so much soil to fill them up.
Things went a little slow today. It was 92 degrees which is hot, but it really registered with me when I switched the weather app to Celsius and it told me that it is 33 degrees. Yup. Hot.
When the sweat was dripping too much, I switched to indoor activities. Made some grape juice, did laundry, and later, shaved Miss BB.
