Saludos amigos amantes del arte y de lo hecho a mano, hoy me complace compartirles un nuevo video de mi actividad favorita, colorear, esta vez se trata de un hermoso Búho al estilo mandala que disfrute un montón pintarlo.

Quizás ya lo has escuchado, en varias ocasiones he dicho que colorear mandalas o dibujos con patrones no es mi fuerte y prefiero no hacerlos, casi siempre pierdo el interes y no termino el dibujo pero esta vez fue diferente, mientras buscaba algo que me llamara la atención para colorear en mis libros más viejos, vi esta pagina con el rostro de un búho y me llamo la atencion, lo observe por un rato para imaginar qué podía hacer con él pues muchas veces lo vi y no me llamó la atención, pero sin dudas este era el dia correcto para colorear.

Busque algunas referencias de paletas de colores para inspirarme y elegi una gama de tres tonos de morado, dos rosado, un amarillo fuerte y dos tonos de verde agua y con esto definido comence a colorear.

En el video les explico con más detalles el paso a paso del proceso de coloreado, además les digo lo que más me gustó del dibujo, en donde me enfoque mas, y tambien les hablo sobre por qué sentí una gran diferencia al colorear este dibujo al estilo mandala con respecto a otros que había hecho anteriormente.

Puedo decir que me relaje, lo disfrute y me contenta poder compartirlo con todos los amigos que siempre me están apoyando en mi arte.

Greetings friends art and handmade lovers, today I am pleased to share with you a new video of my favourite activity, colouring, this time it is a beautiful Owl in mandala style that I enjoyed a lot painting it.

Maybe you have already heard, in several occasions I have said that colouring mandalas or drawings with patterns is not my forte and I prefer not to do them, almost always I lose the interest and I don't finish the drawing but this time it was different, while I was looking for something that called my attention to colour in my oldest books, I saw this page with the face of an owl and it caught my attention, I watched it for a while to imagine what I could do with it because many times I saw it and it didn't call my attention, but without a doubt this was the right day to colour it.

I looked for some colour palette references for inspiration and chose a range of three shades of purple, two pinks, a strong yellow and two shades of aqua green and with this defined I started colouring.

In the video I explain in more detail the step by step process of colouring, I also tell you what I liked most about the drawing, where I focused more, and I also talk about why I felt a big difference when colouring this mandala style drawing with respect to others that I had done before.

I can say that I relaxed, I enjoyed it and I am happy to share it with all my friends who are always supporting me in my art.
