En Venezuela se acostumbra a desmontar los arbolitos y adornos navideños el 02 de febrero, día de la Virgen de la Candelaria. Según la tradición este día termina la época de Navidad e inicia otro tiempo del año. Ese día mi mamá me llevaba a la Misa en Honor a la Virgen y al regresar a la casa quitaba el arbolito.
In Venezuela it is customary to dismantle the Christmas trees and ornaments on February 02, the day of Our Lady of candelaria. According to tradition this day ends the Christmas season and begins another time of year. That day my mother would take me to Mass in honor of Our Lady and when I returned to the house I would remove the little tree.
