Esta es mi entrada para esta semana 11, ronda 4, del grandioso Hive Music Festival creado por @edwardstobia…

Hace unos meses vi un musical de Broadway llamado “Hamilton” escrito por el gran Lin-Manuel Miranda, y quede fascinada con todas sus canciones. No soy una gran fan del rap, pero desde que vi el musical me he encontrado rappeando mientras lavo los platos, jajaja. Sin embargo este cover que les traigo no es un rap, es una balada que canta Eliza Hamilton (Phillipa Soo) cuando descubre que fue engañada por su esposo.

Elegí esta canción porque además de ser muy hermosa y cautivadora, aun me estoy recuperando de la garganta, así que quería comenzar con algo suave y desafiante al mismo tiempo.

A few months ago, I watched a Broadway musical called “Hamilton” written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and I was fascinated with every song. I am not a fan of rap but since I watched it I´ve find myself rapping while washing the dishes, hahaha. However this cover isn’t a rap, it is a power ballad that Eliza Hamilton (Phillipa Soo) sings when she finds out her husband had cheated on her.

I chose this song because besides being beautiful and catchy, I’m still recovering from my sore throat, so I wanted to begin with something soft and challenging at the same time.
