Hive Open Mic Week #227 // He Loves Me // Original By mamab

Hey wonderful people of hive open mic community. How is everyone doing this weekend? My name remains mamab and I'm glad to be part of the concert this week #227.

Last week we sang songs of prayer and this week we are asked to sing about the power of a kiss. Honestly, I didn't plan to sing this week because I couldn't get a song. Finally, I remembered one of my songs. It is actually the first song I ever recorded in the studio. I wrote the song during my undergraduate years and I said to myself, before you finish your first degree you should sing a song in the studio.

Well, that was not the first time I sang in the studio but it was the first singing my own song.

The title of the song is "He loves me". I believe it relates with the theme in a way. Kisses are powerful expressions of love, greetings and friendship most times. It is just Judas in the Bible that kissed Jesus out of betrayal.

The song expresses how God loves me without reservations. He pick me up and set up my feet upon the rock. He washed me from sin and gave me free life. The song is interesting, join me in the rendition.
