Happy Tuesday to all my dear friends of Hive Open Mic! A new week brings us together around music and I know that many of us are eager to share not only our musical work, but also our thoughts on the topic at hand which is "Starlight", chosen by featured artist @leandri.
I must say that the song that I present to you today, simply came to me and I knew that should be my participation for this week. It is "You Are My Sunshine" a traditional American country song that was written by Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell in 1940 and was popularized by Johnny Cash. The lyrics tell us about unconditional love and how the loved one is the light and joy in the singer's life, despite the problems and darkness that may arise. The song is an expression of love and loyalty, and has become one of the most popular and beloved songs in country music in general.
To me that means starlight, it's love, loyalty, the right people around you, they all radiate light to the soul and help us shine. I hope you like my interpretation.

Una nueva semana nos reúne en torno a la música y sé que muchos estamos ansiosos de compartir no solo nuestro trabajo musical, sino también nuestra reflexión en cuanto al tema que nos compete que es “Luz de Estrellas”, escogido por la artista destacada @leandri.
Debo decir que la canción que hoy les presento, simplemente llegó a mí y supe que esa debía ser mi participación para esta semana. Se trata de "You Are My Sunshine" una canción tradicional estadounidense de country que fue escrita por Jimmie Davis y Charles Mitchell en el año 1940 y fue popularizada por Johnny Cash. La letra nos habla sobre un amor incondicional y cómo la persona amada es la luz y la alegría en la vida del cantante, a pesar de los problemas y la oscuridad que puedan surgir. La canción es una expresión de amor y lealtad, y se ha convertido en una de las canciones más populares y queridas de la música country en general.
Para mí eso significa la luz de estrellas, es el amor, la lealtad, las personas correctas a tu alrededor, todas ellas irradian luz al alma y nos ayudan a brillar. Espero que les guste mi interpretación.
