Happy Tuesday to all! Once again, we are gathered around this stage that opens week after week, to give way to talented artists within the blockchain. This week we will reflect on National Pride, the theme chosen by our friend @lasembradora.

When I think of National Pride, it comes to my mind the diverse and great musical culture that exists in our country and how that same culture enriches us day by day. We grow up listening to lullabies with the melody of our national anthem, or stories captured in songs that our plains have. We long for the Christmas season to listen to gaitas and parrandas, in short, Venezuelans spend their whole lives surrounded by good music.

My case is no exception, I grew up in a musical family, on the paternal side and that allowed me to fall in love with the great musical heritage that our country has. Today, I share with you the song Anhelante, written by José Sifontes and popularized by the great Gualberto Ibarreto, and covered by countless artists. This song is from 1976 and belongs to the album Gualberto Ibarreto, Vol. 3. I hope you enjoy my version.

¡Feliz martes para todos! Nuevamente, nos encontramos reunidos en torno a esta tarima que se abre semana tras semana, para dar paso a talentosos artistas dentro de la blockchain. En esta semana reflexionaremos sobre Orgullo Patrio, el tema escogido por la amiga @lasembradora.

Cuando pienso en orgullo patrio, viene a mi mente la diversa y gran cultura musical que hay en nuestro país y cómo esa misma cultura nos enriquece día a día. Crecemos escuchando canciones de cuna con la melodía de nuestro himno nacional, o historias plasmadas en canciones que tiene nuestro llano. Anhelamos la época decembrina para escuchar gaitas y parrandas, en fin, el venezolano, pasa toda su vida rodeado de buena música.

Mi caso no es la excepción, crecí en una familia musical, por el lado paterno y eso me permitió enamorarme del gran acervo musical que tiene nuestra patria. Hoy, les comparto el tema Anhelante, escrito por José Sifontes y popularizada por el gran Gualberto Ibarreto, y versionada por infinidad de artistas. Este tema es del año 1976 perteneciente al disco Gualberto Ibarreto, Vol. 3. Espero que disfruten mi versión.
