Hola queridos compañeros de la comunidad de GEMS, luego de mucho tiempo sin compartir danza con ustedes he decidido volver. Para quien no conoce mi historia, pase más de 15 años estudiando danza contemporánea, moderna, hip hop, entre otras, sin embargo, motivos de la vida deje la danza para finalizar mis estudios.

Hello dear fellow members of the GEMS community, after a long time without sharing dance with you, I have decided to come back. For those who do not know my story, I spent more than 15 years studying contemporary, modern, hip hop dance, among others, however, for reasons of life I left dance to finish my studies.

Hace algunas semanas, por comienzo del año 2022, he decidido para mi vida, hacer justamente lo que me haga feliz y en paz, es aquí donde llega la danza. La danza significa para mi fluidez, paz y soltura, lo cual necesito, dejar ir ciertas cosas y empezar a fluir con lo que se me ponga en frente, cosa que cuesta mucho, pero la danza me hace pensar que soy capaz y que puedo lograrlo todo.

A few weeks ago, at the beginning of the year 2022, I decided for my life, to do exactly what makes me happy and in peace, this is where the dance comes. Dance means for my fluidity, peace and ease, which I need, to let go of certain things and begin to flow with what is put in front of me, which is very difficult, but dance makes me think that I am capable and that I can achieve it everything.

Ahora bien, haciendo una búsqueda de músicas para poder improvisar y subirles algo bonito, interesante y nuevo, encontré la canción de Miley Cyrus “The climb”. Sinceramente, no creo en las casualidades, pero, al encontrar esta canción, y empezar a interpretar el significado de la letra, me llegó muchísimo al corazón, ya que justamente necesitaba en esos momentos esas palabras.

Now, doing a search for music to be able to improvise and upload something nice, interesting and new, I found the song by Miley Cyrus “The climb”. Honestly, I don't believe in coincidences, but when I found this song, and began to interpret the meaning of the lyrics, it touched my heart a lot, since I just needed those words at that time.

A veces, los sueños o nuestros deseos no se cumplen, aun trabajando por ellos, lo cual nos hace sentir perdidos y la fe o esperanza tambalea, pues pensamos que no alcanzaremos nuestros deseos y la mente nos juega en contra. Aun así, existen muchas montañas que debemos escalar en la vida, no será la primera prueba que atravesaremos, por lo que la fe es de suma importancia para mantenernos en pie y constantes. El recorrido, lo que aprendemos al subir, es lo que vale la pena.

Sometimes, dreams or our desires do not come true, even working for them, which makes us feel lost and faith or hope falters, because we think that we will not achieve our desires and the mind plays against us. Even so, there are many mountains that we must climb in life, it will not be the first test that we will go through, so faith is of the utmost importance to keep us standing and constant. The route, what we learn when climbing, is what is worth it.
