2021 was a funny year for me for climbing - first half of the year I was improving very fast - completing a couple of reds in the gym, doing pull ups at home and lost a whole bunch of excess fat. Then in July I injured my elbow / shoulder and as a result cut back on exercising, lost all my strength and gained all the excess fat back while I was sitting at home feeling sorry for myself. To conclude the year I have now got back to where I was when the year started - being able to do a green at the gym. In 2022 I will progress slowly and not rush things. I will focus on my climbing technique, enjoy my time on the wall and slowly improve at a comfortable pace.
