Hive Open Mic - Semana 109 - "Paper Kites." - El Papagayo - Versión con dos mandolinas

El papagayo es un juguete muy usado alrededor del mundo, este juego es originario de las tierras asiáticas, para ser más específicos fue creado por los chinos y hace miles de años llegó a Venezuela por medio de la colonización española cuando Cristóbal colon conocido el nuevo mundo, hoy en día los venezolanos lo toman como propio y juegan con papagayos.

Pero ¿Qué es un papagayo? Un papagayo para los que no saben es un juguete que esta echo originalmente por una estructura hecha por varillas de caña, es muy importante tomar en cuenta que la estructura debe ser liviana, además esta borrada de papel que puede ser de seda, alguna tela liviana o plástico. Todas las piezas se llegan a amarrar con un cordel (pabilo), no está demás mencionar que se suele jugar con el papagayo especialmente en época de semana santa.

Este juguete puede llegar a volar gracias al viento en las temporadas donde hay mucha brisas es común que sea vean niños, jóvenes y adultos haciendo volar el tradicional papagayo.

Esta semana te traigo una canción muy conocida en Venezuela del compositor e integrante del grupo Serenata Guayanesa, Iván Pérez Rossi. Aquí está mi versión a dos mandolinas de El Papagayo.
