When you think of it from a long-term perspective then definitely it is useful for splinterlands economy. This new update will be implemented on Tuesday, March 21st, 2023. You will get 50 energy and the recovery rate is 1 Energy per hour. users who want to pay 100 battles need to buy 50 additional energy from the market. So this is different than the capture rate system which was in percentage.
