A Worthwhile Weekend!

Did anyone notice how fast this weekend went by? It felt like yesterday was Friday, and the weekend was just about starting! But no, it's almost over, just a few more hours to go and the new week will be ushered in.

Well, I made the most of the weekend, and I'm already charged for the new week. Moreover, I had the opportunity to visit my lovely aunt, my mom's only sister. She's been recovering from a partial stroke, requiring constant care and monitoring. Thankfully, she's shown significant improvement over the past few months. I'm hopeful that look in no distant time, she'll be up and about again.

My last visit was two months ago, November, so I decided to visit her again. She was thrilled to see me, and even jokingly complained that I didn't visit often enough. I had to reassure her with a promise to visit more frequently.

I spent quality time with her. We chatted, played, and bonded during my visit. Her lively spirit remains unchanged, even as she directs from her bed, "Go get this fruit," or "Bring that over."

Noticing that she needed a break, I allowed her to rest, and then took the opportunity to connect with nature capturing some moments on video.

As I departed, my heart was filled with gratitude for the chance to reconnect with my aunt. My bag was filled with goodies - pawpaw fruits, coconuts and some palm kernels I gathered during my time in nature.
