tell me how you can not beg for a need
tell me how one can listen to oneself in the dream
in a moment you find yourself far away
still hugging like an airplane
the sky above the clouds the clouds

You are turning around a forest
and what's enough is to fight gravity
you let yourself fall into a crystal ball
I seem to go a bit 'on horseback
riding on the comets then you find yourself
in the dark of a large planisphere
that you had found up there

How many drops have fallen
as many thrills of love how many dreams broken
how many great feelings left at the bottom of the heart
sublime desires with which to measure oneself
between tomorrow today and yesterday

But I will never forget all those steps
that I had to struggle climbing up to you
even a comet sometimes you do not lose to reach its half

You can only imagine how big your moments are
in which to get lost in silence that you never wanted
to believe because the sun can anchor itself to you
with the kisses of a spaceship
because the sense of a destiny
it is found every time you jump beyond of this proof

Try trying to jump the waves of the sea
it's enough to do something for you
try try to imagine how can you give up
to suffer for you to suffer

dimmi come si può ammirare l'amore
dimmi come non si può implorare un bisogno
dimmi come si può ascoltarsi nel sogno
in un attimo ti ritrovi lontano
abbracciando ancora come fossi un aeroplano
il cielo sopra le nuvole le nuvole
Stai girando intorno ad una foresta
e quello che ti basta è lottare contro la gravità
ti lasci cadere in una sfera di cristallo
mi sembra di andare anche un po' a cavallo
cavalcando le comete poi ti ritrovi nel buio
di un grande planisfero che avevi trovato lassù

Quante gocce son cascate quanti brividi d'amore
quanti sogni infranti quanti grandi sentimenti
lasciati in fondo al cuore
sublimi desideri con i quali misurarsi tra il domani oggi e ieri

Però non dimenticherò mai
tutti quei passi che ho dovuto faticare
salendo fino a voi anche una cometa
talvolta non si perde a raggiungere la sua metà

Puoi soltanto immaginarti quanto grandi sono i tuoi istanti
nei quali perdersi in un silenzio che non hai mai voluto credere
perché il sole può ancorarsi a te
con i baci di un'astronave
perché il senso di un destino si trova
ogni volta che salti al di là di questa prova

Prova prova a saltare le onde del mare
posson bastare a fare qualcosa per te
prova prova a immaginare come si può rinunciare
a soffrire per te a soffrire
