The Idiots Guide to Brawling (Or, Brawls for Dummies)

Good Afternoon - and welcome to another Splinterchat with LordTimoty - but you can call me Tim.

It has been weeks since my last video - possibly even two months. It's been a real chaotic time of late, but I'm back and would like to share an idea with you which I would like to call, 'THE IDIOTS GUIDE TO WINNING IN BRAWLS'.

- And, I suppose a big 'Thank You' to the Immortal Gods family, for letting an IDIOT like me participate in the brawls - because as you'll see, I'm not a strategic mastermind, but rather a 'hit em hard, and knock 'em down' kind of a brawler.

In a nutshell, I own 40,000 Card Power - with a strong water attack, and solid line-ups in FIRE and EARTH. My Death and Life Splinters are not amazing, and I try to avoid using those Splinters were possible (and even then, I put all my hope in Captain Katie!).

Here's the strategy: pick some choice rentals.
For me - there's only four cards that will absolutely change my odds of winning every battle.

First up, Is the Sacred Llama Mage - an obvious choice perhaps for his LAST STAND ability - usually, you'd be happy to pick him up for around 25 DEC, unless it's the end of the season. At 19.85 DEC today, he's showing as an absolute bargain.

And of course, if you have the Llama, you need his old mate, Kron the Undying. He's a solid card, and when his attack pops to +5 magic damage with last stand, and he heals himself for +6 health each round - you're going to be a pretty hard target to knock over.

Speaking of knocking over - my most dangerous summoner is Yodin Zaku - I usually play him with Chimney Wallstop - whose Bloodlust skill makes this a combination which will rip through any line-up. While Kron was incredibly cheap at 15 DEC per day, Yodin isn't much more expensive at 22. A bargain really - as if the chance is there, I'll probably play every brawl match with him in my line-up.

And then there's the final piece of the puzzle, the Chain Golem. I quite love this card - largely because of his SHIELD, but also his decent attack and 2 speed in the boots - which for a tank, isn't too bad at all and at a cost of 8 DEC - sometimes less, he's an absolute bargain.

Now, all these prices are current today - and in total, you can see the strategy costs only 70 DEC total for the four cards - and these cards will make you potent. My preferred spot is in BRONZE, but I've also taken these cards into a NOVICE fray and done exceptionally well.

But, you might wonder - why spend 70 DEC on a brawl?

To answer this, I have two points.
Number 1: You're part of a team, everyone should be investing and doing their best to maximise their rewards. That means carrying your weight - and, at a cost of 70 DEC, that's cheap! Especially since you're paid back in GLADIATOR cards.
Number 2: You can take your cards to the ranked battles and absolutely dominate - I'm talking smashing ever opponent to bits - it won't take you long to make your 70 DEC back and then some. There you go - it's not a loss, but an investment into a small profit!

I'll leave you with this warning then, if you come up against me in a brawl - if you don't have these legendary summoners, you'll need to figure out another way to get over the top of their awesomeness!
