I hope you all had as wonderful a holiday season as is possible. Mine was decently good up until New Years when we got hit with a Winter storm which caused a little stress around the homestead. One of my trucks, the older Nissan Frontier that gets around in 4x4 mode way better than my huge Ram 2500 was down for a few days until I figured out what the issue was and now it is back, thank the Gods. So I have been steadily working since then and have had little time for fun.
But, now I'm back to it with my first post of 2022 with an instrumental piece that came together while I was warming up and rehearsing for this week's Open Mic, which you will see posted either Friday or Saturday... hopefully.
I gave it the title Alpenglow because the same day at sunset, yesterday, I captured some beautiful images of the alpenglow phenomenon. As many times as I have seen it out here, it never fails to inspire with awe and beauty.
In the song I start with guitar riffs on my acoustic, then adding some bass and synth pad in the loop. Then I improvise a solo over the top. I hope you all enjoy!!! ❤️
