How Should A Single Christian Woman Live Her Life?

There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

While a married woman cares about caring for her family, which is her responsibility, an unmarried woman has all the time to devote to the work of God, and she can do it to whatever extent she wants, without being distracted by family responsibilities.

An important point to note however is that the period of singleness should be spent in holiness. Celibacy is not a gift given to everyone, so if your singleness is characterized by sexual desires, you should get married.

1 Corinthians 7:8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.
7:9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

Either you have dedicated your life to singleness in the service of God or you hope to get married some day, use your singleness to serve God to any length.
