Day 26 of our #3StepsNoExcuses Adventure. Today is also National Unicorn Day!
In the step for Click Track Profit today we started a new module, the CTPtalk module.
In the introduction lesson, we learned about blogging and liking and commenting on other peoples’ content.
Creating content is different here.
You get rewarded for not only creating your own blog posts but liking (upvoting), commenting on and sharing other peoples’ content as well.
When is the last time that happened on the centralized platforms?
Of course this was only the introduction to CTPtalk.
Looking forward to the upcoming lessons.
The 3 Second Rule x 2.
We only have 3 seconds with the subject heading to get our readers’ attention.
If we can’t do it they will skip ahead to the next email.
But when they do click on the subject heading then we get only another 3 seconds to catch their attention with the body of the email to get them to click the link inside.
So, whatever you’re putting in your emails has to be very attention grabbing and full of value.
People only want to spend their time reading something that is going to help them solve their problem.
And you better do it quickly.
Hint: Refer back to the lesson on bullet points. That will help you get and keep their attention.
Our Plus1 Lesson today is the really big nugget for the day!
Do More!
Don’t get stuck in training mode, for example.
When you’re watching a lesson in Plus 1 or Click Track Profit or another training, take the action step that goes with it before you move to the next lesson.
That is how the lessons in Click Track Profit were designed. To get you doing stuff and not just sitting and watching training lesson after training lesson and never moving forward.
I used to be guilty of that for a very long time.
Felt like I had to learn everything before I could do anything…
It doesn’t work out well that way because it is related to perfectionism, procrastination and analysis paralysis.
The best and really the only way to learn is by doing, taking action!
And…
Taking Action Saves Unicorns
My husband told me this morning that he read in the paper that today is National Unicorn Day!
