    Here we are on Day 24! Today we are talking about
    setting budgets, sticking to them and getting into profit
    leading the people on our lists by spending time on really building the relationships
    and challenging ourselves to learn new skills that will help move our businesses forward.


    Still in the Profit Module in the CTP lessons, our lesson today was about setting up a very reasonable budget, sticking to it and getting into profit.
    Remember our Evergreen lesson? Well those are the product types we will be using in our budgets and promoting to our list subscribers.

    Jon Olson created this great plan just a few years ago.
    In fact I found a copy of the pdf on my external hard drive today.
    The concept is really very simple and easy to follow.
    Your autoresponder, tracking program, hosting program, and the training hub plus a few extras will give you everything you need to build your online business for around 75 dollars a month. Then you start promoting those programs / products because you are using them and when few people join you will start seeing profits. You only need a few people to join and stick with you every month.
    That shouldn’t be too difficult because once they have these programs all set up they aren’t going to debate with themselves about whether they need them or not. And they won’t change because that is a pain to move everything from one host, or autoresponder service or tracking service to another.


    In today’ List Nerds step we get a reminder that behind each name and email address on our list is a real person who has their own unique set of goals and dreams.
    What does that mean?
    Treat them as such by respecting their time and delivering value in the emails you’re sending.
    Keep building the relationships and pulling them in with useful content that is relevant to the reason they joined you in the first place.
    Remember 75% pulling and only about 25% pushing offers
    Get to really know the People on your list, give them what they want and they will be with you for the long haul.


    Today, for our Plus 1 Step we are challenging ourselves to learn something new.
    Not just any new thing though.
    We need to learn a new skill that will actually help us to grow our business and take it to the next level.
    Even if you want to eventually hire someone to do the thing you need, it’s a good idea to learn it yourself first so you know what your expectations are for results.
    Find something that you really enjoy learning and doing, become really good at it, and then offer it as a gig on FIVERR and earn some extra income.
