28K Hive Power on Liotes.voter

Like every Monday we have a look at the financial data of the Liotes project.

This week, we have reached a threshold for the @liotes.voter. We have now close to 28'000 Hive Power that are upvoting the posts of the community. This stake is composed by delegations from the community members and also by the liotes.fund who contributes 13'000 HP to it.

Some problems with our voting service

We are having some troubles with the voting service that we are using and at the moment we are doing 100% manual curation. This means also that the votes might be a bit different than usual.

Lower curation rewards since Hard Fork 25

With the latest hard fork of the Hive blockchain, the curation rewards have become linear in nature. At least during the first 24h after publication of a post. This means also that everybody gets more or less the same return on curation. At the moment it is very difficult to get more than 11% APR on curation. When you delegate Hive Power to @liotes.voter, we actually pay you at the moment 12% APR in the form of LEN tokens. This means that by delegating your hive power, you can get a higher return than by curating yourself!
