Painting with a Limited Palette Workshop

Soon, this September, I will be guiding an #art #workshop on using a limited palette. I'll show you the advantages of and how to get the most out of working with just four colours.

A limited palette by it's very nature means you end up with a more harmonious use of colour in your painting. By limiting (simplifying) your colour choices you focus more on your values which are the most important aspect of painting. This is why black and white or monochrome images work.

The workshop will be hosted by the Vienna Atelier of Traditional Art. The Atelier focues on traditonal methods and materials to teach figurative and representation art.
