Siguiendo la metódica de composición, el día de hoy quiero llevarlos al inicio de mis raíces de la música rock. Esto es un estilo muy básico, definido como los inicios del metal de los 90.

Al llegar a este punto, los compositores de los riffs de guitarra se soltaron un poco y abandonaron ese rasgado continuo y rápido, característico de estilos como el Trash o el Heavy Metal.

Más allá de pensar en la simplificación del estilo, en realidad fue un momento en el que la industria musical, dedicada al género Rock, decidió enfocar las bondades de este fenómeno y llevarlo a un público masivo con la finalidad de promover mercancías, que iban desde zapatos, equipos de audio, instrumentos, entre muchas otras cosas. De esta década de los 90 podemos destacar a agrupaciones musicales como KORN, DEFTONES y LIMP BIZKIT, vistiendo con zapatillas marca ADIDAS, que en tiempo record le dieron la vuelta al mundo, y como un virus ya todos los jóvenes de esta generación las vestían.

Esto es grosso modo la historia de muchas de mis composiciones, ya que esta fue la época que me tocó vivir activamente con la música y de la que puedo dar Fe de cada una de mis palabras y acordes de guitarra, una década de los 90 que fue maravillosa, y unos 2000 en los que me sentí como un RockStar haciendo giras por mi hermoso país Venezuela.

En esta ocasión utilicé varios efectos, como Flanger, Chorus, Reverb, Delay, todos ellos buscando emular guitarras que marcan la vertiente del New Metal. De esta forma se construyen las estrofas, siempre tratando un ambiente hipnótico, cíclico, y en la mayoría de los casos aturden la concentración. Es una forma de decir que estos sonidos están enfocados a crear una atmósfera que transporte al oyente hacia el mundo en el que quiero que estén.

Following the composition method, today I want to take you to the beginning of my rock music roots. This is a very basic style, defined as the beginnings of 90s metal.

At this point, the guitar riff composers let go a little and abandoned that continuous and fast shredding, characteristic of styles like Trash or Heavy Metal.

Beyond thinking about the simplification of the style, it was actually a moment when the music industry, dedicated to the Rock genre, decided to focus on the benefits of this phenomenon and take it to a massive audience in order to promote merchandise, ranging from shoes, audio equipment, instruments, among many other things. From this 90s decade we can highlight musical groups such as KORN, DEFTONES and LIMP BIZKIT, wearing ADIDAS sneakers, which in record time went around the world, and like a virus everyone in this generation wore them.

This is roughly the story of many of my compositions, since this was the time I actively lived with music and of which I can give testimony of each of my words and guitar chords, a 90s decade that was wonderful, and a 2000s in which I felt like a RockStar touring my beautiful country Venezuela.

On this occasion I used several effects, such as Flanger, Chorus, Reverb, Delay, all of them seeking to emulate guitars that mark the New Metal trend. In this way the verses are built, always trying a hypnotic, cyclical atmosphere, and in most cases they daze the concentration. It's a way of saying that these sounds are focused on creating an atmosphere that transports the listener to the world I want them to be in.
