    Saludos Hivers!

    Greetings Hivers!

"Where will the children play?", is a song by the Mexican rock band Maná, from their album Where will the children play?, from 1992.

I confess that I had not played this piece for a long time and that for this week I have encouraged myself to work on something from this great musical group that I had forgotten so much. Maná has always been in a record collection, but very discreetly, since I'm not a fan of all his songs, so I have my selection of songs that I enjoy playing and singing. Among them this song.

"Where will the children play?", this is a song that is closely linked to the fight of Mana for the preservation of the environment, which is a facet that I greatly admire of this great group, that in addition to delighting us with its spectacular music, it also makes contributions to the planet and its ecosystem through Foundations such as Green Peace, an objective that has been clear since its inception in the late 1980s.

I leave you with my cover of this beautiful song.

    Blessings for all!

    Y hoy me pregunté,

    Y hoy me pregunté,
    después de tanta destrucción

    ¿Dónde diablos jugarán
    Los pobres niños?
    Ay, ay, ay
    ¿En dónde jugarán?
    Se está pudriendo el mundo,
    ya no hay lugar

    ¿Dónde diablos jugarán
    Los pobres nenes?
    Ay, ay, ay
    ¿En dónde jugarán?
    Se está partiendo el mundo,
    ya no hay lugar

    Where will the children play?

The grandfather tells that as a child he played
Between trees and laughter, and colored calla lilies
Remember a transparent river without smell
Where fish abounded, they suffered not a pain

The grandfather tells of a very blue sky
Where he flew kites that he built himself
Time passed and our old man has already died
And today I asked myself, after so much destruction

Where the hell will they play
    The poor children?
Oh, oh, oh, where will they play?
The world is rotting, there is no place anymore
    There is no place

The Earth is about to split in two
The sky has already broken, the gray crying has already broken
The sea vomits rivers of oil without ceasing
And today I asked myself, after so much destruction

Where the hell will they play
    The poor children?
Oh, oh, oh, where will they play?
The world is rotting, there is no place anymore

Where the hell will they play
    The poor kids?
Oh, oh, oh, where will they play?
The world is breaking up, there is no place anymore
