"We're Others", is a song by the Venezuelan rock band Candy 66, from their 2009 album Evolutio.
This would be the heaviest album by this group, which since 2000 has been making alternative metal, trying to adapt the stridency of this genre to the masses of the listening public and rock lovers in general.
In Venezuela, the road to undertake music is uphill, it becomes very difficult to emerge with art in a society that is not committed to consuming culture. As far as rock is concerned, the road becomes even harder since it is a musical genre, which at this point in world evolution, is considered taboo in what are called third world countries (worth the misnamed expression) .
Candy 66, is a worldwide representation of Venezuela as far as rock is concerned, after having made presentations in the United States and in different South American countries. Currently, due to the social and migratory crisis that affects Venezuelans, the band is separated, since its musicians are looking for opportunities in other countries.
Originally, the song "We're Others" was presented on this album with a rather heavy style, loaded with distorted guitars and guttural resources in the voice. But this time I wanted to present you an acoustic version of it, with the I intend to disaggregate this tangle of arrangements, which are elaborated in post production within the studio, however this breakdown can be done, as I present it on this occasion, so that we can locate the root of all this. below the original version to see the comparison.

"Somos Otros", es una canción de la banda de rock venezolana Candy 66, de su álbum Evolutio, del año 2009.Este sería el disco más pesado de esta agrupación, que desde el 2000 vienen realizando un metal alternativo , intentando adaptar la estridencia de este género a las masas de público oyente y amantes del rock en general.
En Venezuela, el camino para emprender en la música es cuesta arriba, se torna muy difícil surgir con el arte en una sociedad que no está avocada a consumir cultura. En cuanto al rock se trata, el camino se vuelve aún más duro ya que es un género musical, que para estas alturas de la evolución mundial, es considerada tabú en lo que llaman países del tercer mundo (valga la mal llamada expresión).
Candy 66, es una representación mundial de Venezuela en cuanto al rock se refiere, después de haber hecho presentaciones en Estados Unidos y en diferentes países de suramérica. Actualmente, por la crisis social y migratoria que afecta a los venezolanos, la banda se encuentra separada, ya que sus músicos están buscando oportunidades en otros países.
Originalmente, la canción "Somos Otros, fue presentada en este álbum con un estilo bastante pesado, cargada de guitarras distorsionadas y recursos guturales en la voz. Pero en esta ocasión he querido presentarles una versión acústica de la misma, con la intención de desagregar esta maraña de arreglos, los cuales son elaborados en post producción dentro del estudio, sin embargo se puede llegar a realizar este desglose, así como lo presento en esta ocasión, para que logremos ubicar la raíz de todo esto. Les presentaré más abajo la versión original para que se vea la comparativa.
