Greetings friends of #Hive

My own summer is a song by American rock band Deftones from their 1997 album Around the fur.

This group, together with KoRn and Limp Bizkit, constitutes one of the fundamental pillars of the New-Metal style of the 90's.
They started as a quartet (Drums, Bass, Guitar and Vocals), to later make way for a new member in the Samples and Programming.
This happened as a risky move to update and modernize the band's sound to new trends that began to be heard at the beginning of 2000, which had a very good acceptance by the general audience.

My own summer is the first song of this second studio album, also the first single to promote it, with a super good video that broke the screens of MTv at the time, it was the soundtrack of the first film of The Matrix.

With a lot of love for rock music, and for being one of my favorite bands, here I share this guitar cover of this wonderful song.

My own summer es una canción de la banda de rock estadounidense Deftones de su álbum Around the fur del año 1997.

Esta agrupación, junto a KoRn y Limp Bizkit, constituye uno de los pilares fundamentales del estilo New-Metal de la década de los 90's. Empezaron como un cuarteto (Batería, Bajo, Guitarra y Voz), para posteriormente abrirle paso a un nuevo integrante en los Samples y Programación. Esto sucedió como una jugada arriesgada para actualizar y modernizar el sonido de la banda a las nuevas tendencias que empezaban a escucharse a inicios del 2000, lo cual tuvo una muy buena aceptación por la audiencia en general.

My own summer es el primer tema de este segundo álbum de estudio, también el primer sencillo para la promoción del mismo, con un video súper bueno que rompió las pantallas de MTv en la época, fue banda sonora de la primera película de The Matrix.

Con mucho amor por la música rock, y por ser una de mis bandas favoritas, acá les comparto este cover de guitarra de esta estupenda canción. Para mis seguidores rockeros de la plataforma: audífonos y mucho volumen!!!
