CINEMATECA NACIONAL - MUSEO DE BELLAS ARTES

Saludos mis estimados amigos 👋 Bienvenidos a un nuevo episodio de mi Vlog de Turismo Urbano donde les muestro la segunda parte de mi visita al Museo de Bellas Artes, y en esta ocasión les comparto una reseña sobre la sala principal de la Cinemateca Nacional, una institución pública venezolana ubicada dentro del mismo edificio del museo.

Tuvimos acceso a la cabina de proyección de películas de la sala MBA, en donde nos recibió y atendió el amigo José Gregorio Santana; jefe de sala.
El mismo nos concedió una entrevista en la cual nos presentó un poco de la reseña histórica de la Cinemateca Nacional y la sala MBA, la visión que tiene la fundación y los servicios que está brindando actualmente para la población o ciudadanía de Caracas.

Dentro de la reseña histórica podemos decir que la Cinemateca Nacional fue fundada el 4 de mayo de 1966 por Margot Benacerraf; directora de cine y guionista venezolana. De manera que la institución ya data de unos 56 años de haber sido creada, y la sala MBA es la pionera y principal desde los orígenes de la fundación Cinemateca Nacional.

Luego de nuestra cordial conversación con el amigo José Gregorio Santana nos dirigimos a la sala de cine para mostrar sus instalaciones, las cuales están disponibles totalmente gratis en la actualidad para el público en general, y ofrece dos funciones diaras cada semana, desde los días miércoles a domingos, en el horario de 1:00 pm. Y 3:00 pm.

Además de las funciones ya mencionadas, la Cinemateca Nacional también brinda un servicio de "Cine Móvil" para distintas comunidades, las cuales pueden además solicitar dicho servicio a los entes responsables del mismo.

Sin más que agregar, por el momento, espero que puedan ver y disfrutar del video completo, ya que al final es donde les muestro la sala de cine.

We had access to the projection booth of the MBA hall, where we were received and attended by our friend José Gregorio Santana, head of the hall.
He gave us an interview in which he introduced us to the history of the National Cinematheque and the MBA hall, the vision of the foundation and the services it is currently providing for the population or citizens of Caracas.

Within the historical review we can say that the National Cinematheque was founded on May 4, 1966 by Margot Benacerraf; Venezuelan film director and screenwriter.
