Argentina - Sailing on the immense Lake Lácar in San Martín de los Andes: beauty seen from within.

I think that anyone who goes to San Martin de Los Andes in Neuquén province would instantly become a fan. Not only because of the beauty of the place in terms of nature and architecture, but also because of the number of things to do in this area. We had already been visiting several beaches, we climbed mountains, we went to dinner and at all times we had the beautiful and enormous Lake Lácar as our companion. But we only needed one thing: sailing on it so that's what we did ❤️.

Creo que cualquier persona que vaya a San Martín de Los Andes en la provincia de Neuquén se volvería fan al instante. No solo por lo lindo del lugar en cuanto a naturaleza y arquitectura, sino a la cantidad de cosas que hay para hacer en esta área. Ya habíamos estado recorriendo varias playas, escalamos montañas, fuimos a cenar y en todo momento teníamos como acompañante al hermoso y enorme Lago Lácar. Pero solo nos faltaba una cosa: navegar en él así que eso fue lo que hicimos ❤️.

On the shores of Lake Lácar there are several activities to do in the water: these are mainly kayaking and small boat rides. But there is also a pier there with a slightly larger boat/boat that offers a transfer service to a part of the lake shore called Quila Quina. You can also get there by car, but by boat it is much faster and we have unique views from the center of the lake ❤️.

En las orillas del Lago Lácar hay varias actividades para hacer en el agua: estas son principalmente kayak y paseos en pequeñas embarcaciones. Pero allí también hay un muelle con un barco/lancha un poco más grande que ofrece el servicio de traslado hasta una parte de la costa del lago llamada Quila Quina. Hasta allí también se puede acceder en auto, pero en barco es mucho más rápido y tenemos unas vistas únicas desde el centro del lago ❤️.

The transfer to Quila Quina lasts 25-30 minutes and the trip to there cost us 3500 ARS per person (approx 19 USD). During the day the boats come and go every hour, starting at 10 AM and the last boat back at 8 PM. These schedules seem appropriate to me since they allow you to take advantage of almost the entire day 😃.

El traslado a Quila Quina tiene una duración de 25-30 minutos y el viaje de ida y vuelta hasta allí nos costó 3500 ARS por persona (aprox 19 USD). Durante el día las embarcaciones van y vuelven cada hora, comenzando a las 10 AM y siendo el último barco de regreso a las 8 PM. Estos horarios me parecen adecuados ya que te permiten aprovechar casi la totalidad del día 😃.

As I said before, the depth of the water and the fact of not knowing how far I am from the bottom scares me. But this is only when I'm alone on the water: I think when it comes to boats I could get on an ocean cruise and none of this fear would show up. The mind operates in very strange ways 😅.

Como ya he dicho antes, la profundidad del agua y el hecho de no saber a cuanta distancia estoy del fondo me da miedo. Pero esto es solo cuando estoy yo sola en el agua: creo que cuando se trata de barcos podría subirme a un crucero en el océano y nada de este miedo aparecería. La mente opera de maneras muy extrañas 😅.

It only took a few minutes for us to be well in the center of the lake surrounded by beautiful mountains. The day was clear and incredible, and as soon as the boat finished sailing, the driver allowed us and outside to sit. Ok, sure this part of the ship has some specific name, but I don't know. I just know that we were able to have some amazing views ❤️.

Tan solo bastó unos minutos para que ya estuvieramos bien en el centro del lago rodeados de hermosas montañas. El día estaba despejado e increíble, y ni bien la embarcación terminó de zarpar, el conductor nos permitió y afuera a sentarnos. Ok, seguro esta parte del barco tenga algún nombre específico, pero no lo sé. Solo sé que pudimos tener unas vistas increíbles ❤️.

Of course we were not the only ones walking around this great lake of more than 500 km2. We were able to see some fellow travelers who had also gone out to get some sun ❤️.

Por supuesto no éramos los únicos paseando por ese gran lago de más de 500 km2. Pudimos ver a algunos compañeros de ruta que también habían salido a tomar un poco de sol ❤️.

As we headed to Quila Quina we were able to see the Playa Catritre, which we had visited just a few days ago. Of course it was already full of people, who wouldn't want to take advantage of such a beautiful day? It was great to have seen it from there ❤️.

Mientras nos dirigíamos a Quila Quina pudimos ver la Playa Catritre, la cuál habíamos visitado tan solo unos días atrás. Por supuesto que ya estaba llena de gente, ¿quién no querría aprovechar ese hermoso día? Fue genial haberla visto desde allí ❤️.

I remember that from the beach we had seen a tall and incredible mountain of rock. I think that day I was hypnotized and wondering if anyone could have climbed up there, but my surprise was greater when during the boat ride we saw exactly that mountain completely up close ❤️.

Recuerdo que desde la playa habíamos visto una montaña de roca alta e increíble. Creo que ese día estuve hipnotizada y pensando en si alguien habría podido escalar hasta allí, pero mi sorpresa fue mayor cuando durante el paseo en barco vimos exactamente esa montaña completamente de cerca ❤️.

Well, it's nothing new that I get emotional easily with beautiful landscapes, but in particular, being so close to that imposing mountain and seeing our flag wave there made me very sentimental. I couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful all this is, in the beautiful places that we have and how lucky I am to be able to do all these incredible rides ❤️.

Bueno no es ninguna novedad que me emociono fácilmente con los paisajes hermosos pero en particular estar tan cerca de esa montaña imponente y ver ahí flamear nuestra bandera me puso muy sentimental. No podía dejar de pensar en lo lindo que es todo esto, en los lugares hermosos que tenemos y en lo afortunada que soy por poder hacer todos estos paseos increíbles ❤️.

After the promised half hour, we arrived at Quila Quina. This entire area is a beach area and also has a restaurant for lunch, but that day we decided to bring our own lunch. We spent the whole afternoon there enjoying the beaches, the sun and the empanadas that we had brought to eat 😅.

As for the video I posted above, I had posted on my Twitter earlier that day that I was away and someone on the 3speak team told me they were hoping to see some videos. Well, it was thanks to that influence that I recorded that and now I'm uploading my first video all of Hive. Después de la media hora prometida, llegamos a Quila Quina. Toda esta área es de playa y también tiene un restaurante para almorzar, pero ese día nosotros decidimos llevar nuestro propio almuerzo. Pasamos toda la tarde allí disfrutando de las playas, del sol y de las empanadas que habíamos llevado para comer 😅.

En cuanto al video que publiqué más arriba, ese día había publicado en mi Twitter que estaba de viaje y alguien en el equipo de 3speak me dijo que esperaba ver algunos videos. Bueno, gracias a esa influencia fue que grabé eso y que ahora estoy subiendo mi primer video todo Hive.
