¡Hola a todos! Hoy les traigo uno de los unboxings que más me ha emocionado hacer: el de mi nuevo celular. Cuando empecé en la blockchain no tenía celular, pasé poco más de un año sin uno, todo lo hacía por mi computadora viejita, me descargué un emulador de celular y por ahí me comunicaba con mis amigos, y una vez que empecé en Steemit,hice muchos amigos nuevos y toda la comunicación que tenía era por Discord. Luego, uno de mis tíos me envió de regalo un iPhone 4 que tenía guardado, ya estaba descontinuado para ese año (2019) y luego mi mamá me dejó un iPhone 5. Todos de regalo, pero con sus mañas y defectos. Ese año conseguí un trabajito en un proyecto dentro de EOS y pude comprarme un celular nuevo y actualizado: un REDMI NOTE 7. La emoción de tener un celular nuevo, de paquete es algo incomparable. Y tener uno con el que podía tener y acceder a todo lo que quisiera, era mejor aún. Este celular estuvo conmigo por casi dos años, pero mis exigencias empezaron a cambiar. Además que era el tiempo que estimaba para cambiar de celular; empezó a mostrar unas pequeñas fallas, se reiniciaba, se quedaba pegado en algunas aplicaciones y ya no podía jugar mi juego favorito: Genshin Impact.

When I started in the blockchain I didn't have a cell phone, I spent a little over a year without one, I did everything through my old computer, I downloaded a cell phone emulator and that's how I communicated with my friends, and once I started in Steemit, I made many new friends and all the communication I had was through Discord. Then one of my uncles sent me as a gift an iPhone 4 that he had in storage, it was already discontinued for that year (2019) and then my mom left me an iPhone 5. All gifts, but with their quirks and flaws. That year I got a little job on a project within EOS and was able to buy a new and updated cell phone: a REDMI NOTE 7. The thrill of having a new cell phone, out of the box, is something incomparable. And to have one with which I could have and access everything I wanted was even better. This phone was with me for almost two years, but my demands began to change. Besides that it was the time I estimated to change my cell phone; it started to show some small failures, it restarted, got stuck in some applications and I could no longer play my favorite game: Genshin Impact.

Sin embargo, una de las cosas que más añoraba tener este año era una computadora nueva, y ya al momento de tenerla quedó un vacío de aspiraciones y me mentalicé en tener un celular nuevo, con mejor procesador, más memoria y más espacio. Así, que sin apuros empecé a ver los celulares disponibles ya mentalizarme y empezar a reunir. No fue fácil cambiar de celular, definitivamente debía ser mejor que el que ya tenía, y veía los celulares en el rango de los 200$ y no estaban tan alejados del Note 7, así que tenía que aspirar a más. Las opciones fueron las siguientes: Realme 8 Pro, Realme 8, POCO F3 y si llegaba a tiempo el Realme GT. Revisaba las tablas comparativos casi que a diario, y si salía uno nuevo iba a las tablas nuevamente. El POCO X3 Pro estaba descartado por el peso, no entraba dentro de mis opciones.

The choices were as follows: Realme 8 Pro, Realme 8, POCO F3, and the Realme GT if it came in time. I checked the comparison charts almost daily, and if a new one came out I would go to the charts again. The POCO X3 Pro was discarded because of the weight, it was not among my options.

Llegó el gran día, tenía 400$ disponibles para ir por un POCO F3, una opción brutal, con un procesador bestial de gama media-alta, insuperable por el precio que ofrecían. Me comuniqué con mi tienda de confianza (ya les hablaré más adelante de ellos) y que les ha vendido todos los celulares a mi círculo cercano y cuando pregunté: ¡SE LES HABÍA ACABADO EL POCO F3! Y pasarían un par de semanas más para que les volvieran a llegar. Así que me comuniqué con mi asesor tecnológico de confianza para que me ayudara y empezamosa buscar por instagram las tiendas que tuvieran este celular (@josecarrerag, gracias por toda la ayuda), conseguí un par qued ecían que aceptaban criptomonedas por Binance y me pedían un 5% extra de comisión por usar Binance y yo, molesta, desacarté esas opciones.

The big day came, I had $400 available to go for a POCO F3, a brutal option, with a beastly mid-high end processor, unbeatable for the price they were offering. I contacted my trusted store (I'll tell you more about them later) that has sold all the cell phones to my close circle and when I asked: THEY WERE OUT OF THE POCO F3! And it would be a couple more weeks before they would get them again. So I contacted my trusted tech advisor for help and we started searching on Instagram for stores that had this phone (@josecarrerag, thanks for all the help), I got a couple that accepted cryptocurrencies through Binance and they asked me for an extra 5% commission for using Binance and me, annoyed, turned those options off.

Así que no dudé y les dije que me lo guardaran que iba por él. Yo no podía dejar de comprarles, ya mi familia había comprado allí sus celulares, aceptaban pagos por el p2p de Binance y son súper amables y atentos. Al final terniné pagando mucho menospor un gran celular, me ahorré unos 120$ que destiné a otras cosas, junto al celular me entregaron de regalo un vidrio templado, unos audifonos,un reloj digital y un adaptador para mi cargador europeo. En poco tiempo me adapté al peso del celular. Me encanta que tenga unas cornetas estéreo que suenan bastante fuertes, tiene una tasa de refrescamiento de 120 GHZ que hace que las aplicaciones fluyan y los juegos... Oh! Los juegos, puedo jugar a máxima capacidad y grabar al mismo tiempo sin que ocurra nada.

In the end, I ended up paying much less for a great cell phone, I saved about $ 120 that I spent on other things, along with the cell phone they gave me a gift of tempered glass, a headset, a digital watch, and an adapter for my European charger. In a short time, I adapted to the weight of the cell phone. I love that it has stereo speakers that sound quite loud, it has a 120 GHZ refresh rate that makes the applications flow and the games... Oh the games, I can play at full capacity and record at the same time without anything happening.

La configuariación fue bastante fluida y migrar las aplicaciones fue superfácil, solo usas la opción MI MUDANZA y empiezas a descargar todas las aplicaciones de tu antiguo celular al nuevo. Y por supuesto, lo primero que descargué fue GENSHIN IMPACT, en cuanto abrí mi cuenta no recordaba cuanto lo extrañaba, y que además juego mejor en el celular que en la computadora.

The setup was pretty smooth and migrating the apps was super easy, you just use the MY MOVE option and start downloading all the apps from your old phone to the new one. And of course, the first thing I downloaded was GENSHIN IMPACT, as soon as I opened my account I didn't remember how much I missed it, and also that I play better on the phone than on the computer.

Luego, a pimpear mi celular, le compré un forro bastante girly todo fucsia y morado lleno de glitter en forma de corazones que me hace super feliz,y por supuesto, un pop socket para aguantar el peso del celular. Y a partir de ese momento no lo solté más. Ya tengo una semana con el dispositivo y no tengo muchas quejas, solo que la bandeja del sim a pesar de ser dual sim solo tiene dos slots, uno para el chip y el otro que puede ser para otro chip o para una sim card, lo que no es muy conveniente si tienes otra líne y adempas quieres agregar más espacio a tu celular. De resto me encanta y espero pasar muchos años más con él. No suelo cambiar tan seguido de dispositivo, así que estará acompañandome por muchos años más.

Then, to pimp my cell phone, I bought a very girly lining all fuchsia and purple full of glitter in the shape of hearts that makes me super happy, and of course, a pop socket to hold the weight of the phone. And from that moment on I never let go of it. I already have a week with the device and I do not have many complaints, only that the sim tray despite being a dual sim only has two slots, one for the chip and the other that can be for another chip or for a sim card, which is not very convenient if you have another line and also want to add more space to your phone. Otherwise, I love it and hope to spend many more years with it. I don't change devices that often, so they will be with me for many years to come.

En cuanto a mi antiguo Redmi Note 7, que fue una herramienta poderosa de trabajo aún ahora sigue siendo un dispositivo potente, y ahora pasará a manos de mi papá que tiene tiempo con un celular que le pide espacio, y ahora tendrá un buen dispositivo.

Hacer toda esta reseña me llena de nostalgia y felicidad, pueden notarlo con facilidad en el video que grabé, porque mi Note 7 fue algo que deseé por un par de años y cuando lo tuve en mis manos significó que las cosas estaban mejorando para mí, que todo estaría mejor a partir de ese momento y así fue. Doing all this review fills me with nostalgia and happiness because my Note 7 was something I wanted for a couple of years and when I had it in my hands it meant that things were getting better for me, that everything would be better from that moment and so it was.
