Hi,
I started my flush today. Trying to get the PPM down to as much as I can. I'll be happy with 200 PPM. The purple and yellow is lighting-up the tent.
Check out the clip.
So, it's that time of the grow for leaching the plant of nutrients. I will run water through the soil to flush-out the nutrients. I will run 9 gallons of water as it is recommended to do 3 times your pot size. I am using 3 gallon pots, so 9 gallons of water is what I need.
It is important to flush if you want great taste. The whole idea is to get the plant to start using nutrients from it's bank rather than the soil. The plant will exhaust it's chlorophyll and with it the bitter taste. Flushing is just the first step to getting great taste, drying and curing will come next...but that will be for another day and another post.
Thanks,
