Welcome to Afri-tunes Community; a community where we share, listen to and enjoy African music and tunes on Hive.
This is the 60th week of our weekly contest on Hive. I encourage you to do well to subscribe, join in and present, as well as always check out for lovely African tunes in the Community.
It seems I took the song too personal when presenting it, possibly because while singing the lyrics I could picture or reflect on each word I sang. With this, the song became more than an ordinary song; instead, I was immersed in the euphoria of the realistic interpretation of the song.
My life has been a journey of ups and downs, and I know it is probably the same with each and every one of us, albeit we all have our unique experiences of the "ups and downs." The uniqueness of our experiences and how we struggle, cope with or overcome it, has a way of defining who we are and what we believe in.
Whereas some believe in luck, others in Kharma, some others in both, and some others in nature. Well, I think mine is in Jesus, and it's been working great for me. Its more than just a belief, but a way of life, even though I falter in some cases, since I'm not a super human (you know). In all, he is my strength, my solace and he's more than I can ever imagine to me.
So, it was more than a song; it was reality.
It was more than just a melody; it was my life!
So here I am presenting a cover of a gospel song by Judikay, titled More than Gold.
I hope you enjoy this piece, because I also enjoyed it.
