This is another week of our lovely and amazing event on Hive, Afri-tunes. This is the 17th week of our Afri-tunes event.

Eeeeem, for this week I'll be presenting Teni Makanaki's song titled Uyo Meyi.

Before now, I've been in search of the meaning of the song. Well, I wasn't so serious though, if not I would have checked Google. However, I used this as an opportunity to search for the meaning.

"Uyo Meyo is a traditional Ondo saying from Nigeria that talks about rejoicing and happiness. The Ondo tribe is part of the larger Yoruba culture in South-West Nigeria.

Clearly, it speaks about rejoicing and gladness. Wonderful themes in a wonderful piece.
