50
It's the last night and tomorrow I have to go.
Checking out of the window if it rains.
I'm not afraid of you,
I don't want to stay;
What's left for me is to run away again...
Once more I must confess I can't be alone;
Unnumbered years,
year after year I can't stop my run...
Why had I believed in words that can't fool even a child
Why had I run away, why had I believed...?
Is it the rain outside or the cold inside me
that stops my run: I'm staying here.
Or maybe it's the fear of coming back here again
like a stranger with no shelter, lost his home...
Once more I must confess I can't be alone;
Unnumbered years,
year after year I can't stop my run...
Why had I believed in words that can't fool even a child
Why had I run away, why had I believed...?
