Hoy hago homenaje a todos esos bardos los cuales se han dedicado a la hermosa pasión de la gaita zuliana.

Aplaudir a estos grandes que se han esmerado cada dia por ser mejores, creadores de costumbres, tradiciones, evoluciones y que hoy dia luchan por el reconocimiento a la gaita como genero musical abogando por la expansión de nuestras latitudes y que solamente no sea un folklore nacional si no un genero universal.

No somos profetas ni tampoco vemos a través de un espejo mágico, pero estamos seguros de que el camino que va tomando la gaita es el camino a la universalidad.
.
Guaco, Cardenales, Colosales, Koquimba, Maragaita, Pillopo, entre otras agrupaciones nos dejaron un legado con excelentes músicos y canciones que hoy dia se escuchan en el mundo.
.
Para mi el mejor gaitero de todos los tiempos fue Astolfo Romero, El Parroquiano fue después de Ricardo Aguirre El que Rompió con todos los esquemas, en todas las agrupaciones y estilos posibles.
.
