Hey, everyone! After the launch of shorts, we have been testing and fixing various issues that arose from community feedback. LeoShorts is not just about uploading videos; it represents a completely new back-end system that allows us to address issues related to videos being uploaded as main posts and to redirect curation rewards to the authors.

Before starting the development of LeoShorts, we weren't completely familiar with how 3speak shorts worked. After learning the process, we quickly realized that it wouldn’t align with our microblogging principles, so we built a new back-end that creates a container similar to threads but with added complexity.

Your video is published to a LeoShorts account, which designates you and the required 3speak accounts as beneficiaries. A thread is then created from your account to share the video, using the title you provide as the video’s title and the description as the body of the thread. While the upvotes on the thread go to the original video published from LeoShorts, the payout is directed to you as the beneficiary.

This is a complex system that we’ve integrated into the Inleo UI. Since it’s still new, there may be issues related to different devices, login methods, and the 3speak side of transactions. To ensure all these components work in harmony, we need your feedback. The more feedback we receive, the faster we can make these new features work smoothly.
