Taskmaster4450 and Khal on the Future of LeoFinance as a Social Web3 Ecosystem

On this special edition of the podcast, I'm joined by @taskmaster4450 who needs no introduction here on Hive and LeoFinance.

The man is everywhere and he makes a positive impact on Hive and LeoFinance in so many ways, it's impossible to list in a single post.

In this episode of the podcast, Task and I talk about the LeoVerse from a social media perspective.

Some Lions out there have expressed concerns since the launch of CubFinance and PolyCUB that the LeoTeam seems to be only focused on DeFi and not enough on the social side.

In this episode, we focus almost exclusively on all of the things our team has been building on the social side and Task also gives us some perspective from the community and through some of the Community-run initatives that he takes charge of every single day.

Microblogging - LeoThreads

One of the focuses in this episode is the upcoming release of LeoThreads. After 18 months of working on databases and key infrastructure for project blank, we're coming onto the home stretch.

LeoThreads is a key release for us. It allows us to test all of that infrastructure that we've invested hundreds of thousands of dollars and thousands of dev hours into. We're so incredibly excited to release this to the Hive and Leo community.

LeoTeam always delivers: maybe not on the timescale you want, maybe not in all the ways that you want... But we always deliver. I am very proud of the team for getting us to this key moment in time. While token prices aren't what we all want them to be, our focus has always been on technology and MAUs.

As long as our technology is advancing and our Monthly Active Userbase is growing, the project is doing extremely well.

With MAUs doing great and LeoThreads about to launch, I've never been more excited to be a part of this project and amazing community.

It feels like a big burden off my shoulders while simultaneously realizing that this is just the first step in a much longer journey ahead.
