Machaon caterpillar (Papilio machaon) - my find in the garden

Once I found a large and beautiful caterpillar in my grandmother’s garden.
I persuaded my mother to take the caterpillar home as a pet.
The caterpillar ate dill and we took it with us to feed it.
A few days later she began to behave suspiciously.
In the morning I found no longer a caterpillar but a chrysalis. I was worried what would happen next.
But after 14 days a beautiful butterfly was waiting for us at home.
Mom let her out.
