Once again grateful to be able to take part in this weekly musical experience, this time in week 116 with the theme "Trumpet sound"
Let the trumpets sound! one more week of Hive Open Mic that allows us to share and connect through music, appreciate and be appreciated, grow as artists and grow in turn in the art of contemplation, valuing beauty, brotherhood and friendship, all of this has been possible within this community where global harmony becomes a reality and that has become for many of us a family, to which I am proud to belong.
I am pleased to share with you on this occasion a very emotional song by a young composer named Thomas Welding, who is not very well known, however it seemed to me that this song has all the elements to be a success since I heard it for the first time. The undeniably melancholic chords and the lyrics full of that sad romanticism that is easily associated with heartbreak, are combined with a fast tempo and rhythm and a catchy melody to give us as a result this song that you could perhaps describe as "bittersweet".
I tried to emulate the rhythm of the percussion of the original theme with the guitar strings, which cost me a bit of work since I had to concentrate not to lose the rhythm hehe, but I think it turned out well in the end, I hope you like it!

Lyrics:
Letra:
Broken bottles on the bedroom floor.
Sleepless nights, no love no more.
You pull me in so you can shut me out.
Again and again and again.
Is it too late for love?
Too late for apologies?
To late to find our way home?
Throw me a lifeline,
This is too much.
Why are we drifting apart?
Throw me a lifeline,
Im missing your touch.
I cant live without your love.
Wohoh-ho
Dam, dam, dam, dararararararam.
Im paralyzed, lying in bed.
Tryin to escape the thoughts my head.
Broken bottles on the bedroom floor, waiting for you to come and knock on my door.
Is it too late for love?
Too late for apologies?
To late to find our way home?
Woahoah
Throw me a lifeline,
This is too much.
Why are we drifting apart?
Throw me a lifeline,
Im missing your touch.
I cant live without your love.
Wohoh-ho
Dam, dam, dam, dararararararam.
Deeper and deeper its pulling us down.
Deeper, deeper, cant feel the ground
Deeper, deeper, deeper, deeper
Whoooooooa
Throw me a lifeline,
This is too much.
Why are we drifting apart?
Throw me a lifeline,
Im missing your touch.
I cant live without your love.
Dam, dam, dam, dararararararam.
