Dear hivers music lovers! I feel really happy and excited to be able to share with you my latest work, as always exclusively for hive and with much love for all of you.

This time I bring you an interpretation of one of my guitar heroes, nothing more and nothing less than the great Stevie Ray Vaughan, who has been a great inspiration and influence for me. I heard his music for the first time when I was about 15 years old, and was absolutely mesmerized by his incredible playing ability and by his phenomenal live performances, often surpassing even his studio versions, which says a lot about his quality as a musician. artist. Vaughan also became known in the 80's thanks to his interpretations of Jimi Hendrix songs such as "Vodoo Child" which he adapted to his style, making some critics consider that he performed it even better than Hendrix himself, he also collaborated with the biggest names in the blues genre such as B.B King, Buddy Guy, Albert King, Eric Clapton, among others. Unfortunately his brilliant career ended suddenly and tragically in a helicopter accident on the way to a presentation, however his legacy still remains, being an influence for thousands of guitarists who like me admire his music, and he left his name firmly written in the history of the music, as one of the best blues guitarists who ever lived.

For this video, I first recorded the base guitar together with the voice accompanied by a simple percussion on my little Yamaha PortaSound (as a metronome) and then I recorded the guitar solo, trying to do it justice and a worthy tribute to this great guitarist , which was not an easy job since I had to try several times until I was happy with the result, something that does not happen often since I almost always achieve the final take in one or two attempts, but in this case the guitar solo was fundamental part of the song and I wanted it to preserve even a little of the essence of this great guitarist, well friends that's all for now I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it! Greetings, blessings and many successes, see you soon with more music!

    lyrics:

    Mary had a little lamb,
Its fleece was white as snow, yeah.
    Everywhere the child went,
The little lamb was sure to go, yeah.
He followed her to school one day,
    And broke the teacher's rule.
What a time did they have,
    That day at school.
    Tisket, tasket,
    A green and yellow basket.
Sent a letter to my baby,
On my way I passed it.

    letra:

    tiket, tasket,
    Una canasta verde y amarilla.
Envié una carta a mi bebé,
    En mi camino lo pasé.
