Hoy recuerdo a Rafael
Como el mejor escultor
A quien decían “carajito”
De Lutier era el mejor
A quien decían “carajito”
De Lutier era el mejor.
Qué viva la Maravilla
En el cuatro y su canción
Qué viva la Maravilla
En el cuatro y su canción
Y que el último compás
Me suene cambur pintón
Y que el último compás
Me suene cambur pintón.

Receive a warm and tasty greeting from the east of our country. This humble citizen and constant servant to share the best I know how to do. In this week 5 of the FOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL carried out by the @vcd or Villa de Cura community, I bring you a song with an oriental rhythm entitled QUE VIVA LA MARAVILLA, in honor of one of our most valuable Luthiers in our region RAFAEL ARCIA, who makes Little did we go to another landscape. In particular, as it was a stronghold well known by all and also by national musical groups such as Serenata Guayanesa, Cecilia Todd, Lilia Vera, among others who visited it in their most outstanding moments of their lives. Many artists came to acquire their instrument (Cuatro) because the integral quality was and extraordinary. So I had to write a song for him because I've been like part of the family for a few years. The company is called LA MARAVILLA and they called him EL CARAJITO. What I tell in the song is totally as I say it and that happened and it is an honor for me as a cultist from my state of Sucre to leave you this little musical work that I hope you enjoy.

From that old window
The Wonder sculpted
from that old shop window
the Wonder carved
that beautiful instrument
what does cambur pinton say
that beautiful instrument
what does cambur pinton say
Raphael's hands
With his hawk gaze
I measured carefully
fingerboard arm
carefully measured
the fingerboard arm.
One morning I arrived
to your house once
One morning I arrived
to your house once
to polish the four
who sold me a long time ago
to polish the four
that he sold me a long time ago.
the hands of that gentleman
of color was the sculptor
with the magic of his hands
turned into a mirror
with the magic of his hands
turned into a mirror
I remember that he told me
Cheíto of heart
I remember that he told me
Cheíto of heart
as if it were his son
one more of his bunch
as if it were his son
One more of his bunch.
Today I remember Raphael
like the best sculptor
Who did they say "carajito"
De Lutier was the best
Who did they say "carajito"
De Lutier was the best.
Long live the Wonder
In the four and its song
Long live the Wonder
In the four and its song
And that the last measure
It sounds like a pintón cambur
And that the last measure
It sounds like a pintón cambur to me.
